That "other" place...

I was browsing the "bass family" pics over at the "other place" and was sort of disappointed at the lack of, what are to me, interesting basses. Now, I know that everyone has their styles and favorites, etc., but the sheer number of boutique basses (most of which look alike) is staggering. Gold plated this that or the other thing, 5 strings or more, fancy wood, the extended upper horn, blah blah blah, made for a rather boring bunch of photos.

I don't get it.

Clocks.

I know exactly what you mean....oh so much black hardware, plastic and table tops.
Yawn.

Take a look at what, and how many, basses are being sold there.  I'm trying to sell a couple myself, and have gotten only trade inquiries. I will say that I sold the Scroll bass in less than 6 hours there.

I have had 3 tag sales over there for months.  Have been able to sell about 25 things out of about 80 items.  lots of annoying questions.  forces one to deal with feebay or get ripped off by GC etc

Try to look at it this way: it's probably less annoying that Craigslist.
