Nice! Just don't leave it at a recording studio.

Oh, no worries there, Dave!

Thanks for the comments, guys! To answer some questions, yes it has the side shifter (hand shift). You can see it on the right side photo coming from under the gas tank and curving around towards the top. It has a black shifter knob on it. Indians were, with only a couple of exceptions, left hand throtte/right hand shift. In the spirit of originality, that's how it will remain.

I found the bike on a small website called George's Worldwide Antique American Motorcycle trader around 2004. Originally I'd emailed about a '25 Henderson Deluxe motor for $4500 but it turns out it was pretty much an entire motorcycle. Separately I'd emailed a guy about this bike and it turns out the same guy owned both, he'd just posted from home and work emails. Made a deal and bought both. Later I sold the Henderson and regret the hell out of it.

The guy and both bikes were way north of Saskatoon in Saskatchewan so it's cool that it was a Canadian Army bike and I found it in Canada. Turns out that Canada only received 550 of this model and it's one of those.

I can't wait to start this sucker up, but I'm also kinda apprehensive about it.

Super nice project! A friend of mine has just decided to buy a '41 Harley Davidson project.
He's a complete mechanic maniac. It's something I'd love to learn but I don't have the time to atm.
I have a slightly retro looking Triumph Scrambler 2007... When I ride alone,
I change the seat to a single one which looks a little bit cooler ;)

Real cool indeed Denis ! My band played on the wedding anniversary of the owner of the Dutch Indian Museum and got away with these real cool T's .......

Nice Triumph, Popp. I like those Scramblers, in part because you see them less often than the regular Bonnies. The pipes are cool too.

New pics! Got the old girl to the point where I could roll her around, so I got her outside and into the yard for some pics. Not running yet though. I have the chainguard, air cleaner assembly and most of the stuff not on her.

Oh my gosh!  It is beautiful!  I would love to restore and old bike like that.  I am envious for sure.  I miss riding so much, but can't convince the wife we need another Harley......yet.
