At least this guy only claims that pore filling kills vibration. There's a guy who makes customized tele-style guitars who claims that his special process "hardens the pores." Isn't that like saying you can harden the hole in a donut? And he never uses "any kind of polymer base underneath the nitro" -- guess he doesn't know that lacquer is a polymer --  because "that adds weight and kills the tone" -- as if there's any measurable difference in weight between the solids in lacquer and non-lacquer sealers. But there's a sucker born every minute, and people keep buying his guitars which he claims are 100% built by him even though he uses stock pre-routed bodies he buys from a supplier.
