Kent Armstrong pickups, Hipshot bridge and tuners. 34" scale bolt on neck.  Info anyone?  Can't find any pricing.

I'll call Walmart and get a price check.   (I know that's one of their high end offerings; I just couldn't resist.)

Here is a used one on Ebay that I spotted this morning. I don't know what the used value is for any of the First Act basses, but the new ones are not cheap.

First Act did start out with low end import guitars at Walmart, then they came out with much more expensive stuff about 5 years ago. The Delgada wasn't cheap, IIRC it was over $1K new and made in Boston where they claimed to have a custom shop.

No idea if it's actually still being made. Did you notice that the latest press release on their website is from 2008? And no "in the news" items since 2010.

Saw that one on Ebay, that's what got this started.

Didn't notice the dates, Dave, very observant.  None of the dealers named on their site mentions First Act, I guess they were a victim of the recession.  All the links to reviews are broken, too.

I saw the First Act booth at NAMM in 2007 and thought it interesting.

Maybe they are just resting (like a Norwegian Blue parrot) and waiting for the times to get better. The website is being maintained even though it's not being updated. Don't hold your breath, though.

I presume it's a POLLY fin...

Beautiful plumage.

Or maybe it's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible.
