I got me one-a them...the bass they describe as the "335-Copy", predecessor of the Coily:

i have too many univox basses.  about 8-10.  I have that same 335 shape bass.  not as mint  as yours.  Actually just posted this one for sale on TB.  Is (Was)   my favorite one

I love the scroll headstock on that one!

I also have a Lyle hollowbody that I need to peddle...30" scale with a Fenderish headstock, no electronics or nut.

There's something about those hollow and semi-hollow basses that really appeals to me.  They just look like a bass guitar ought to look.

That one isn't the best bass I have by a long way, but it's one of the most beautiful.  Matsumoku was doing some pretty fine wood and finish work back then.
