The story goes he dreamt of Hendrix and recorded this shortly before he passed... reputedly his last recorded work...


EC credited Duane with writing the "Chariot-ride" slide intro to this number... arguably Duane's most famous slide work, albeit virtually unknown to all but those who know...


As perfect an example of "hittin' the note" at a venue as I care to post...


Duane kept the ABB alive and kicking until they broke by doing dozens of sessions, mostly for Atlantic... a prime example of pure simplicity... another example of hittin' the note...


RIP wherever you may be... :)
