It did turn out great as usual!  Say, after staring at it for a bit, the pickguard makes me think of a new name for the bass:  the butterfly model!  Or did someone think of that already?   :P
I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

That's actually surf green, more pastel than seafoam green.  It was for sale for a few go arounds on Ebay recently.  the last non ThunderBucker equipped bass.

The RNR eventually turned into the G8R (Gator).  It's a flipped over version of the surf green one.  I built the 8 string first...


... then #50 for Mike (Rex Diablo).  Pickguard ( a midcentury modern 'boomerang") and edge scalloping is a little different on his.


I have started another, 2 pickup, it will be done in "Cadillac green" by customer request. It will get a tort pickguard.  I'm happy with how the concept has evolved and that I've sold a couple.
