dano 56 bass - black $200

I've tried this edition. Not impressed with the tone at all.

They do look vintage, they just don't sound like the originals or even the late 90s Korean revival Danos.

ordered one anyway. my 12 year old isn't digging the copperburst longhorn (fine with me) so he gets this one and i get my longhorn back ...

bass came in. really not bad. very bright sounding RW which i will change out. great action pups. for 200 for a 12 year old beginner...

I have the reissue Copperburst Longhorn. It might not sound like the original, but I love it! I even recorded two of twelve The La La Lies songs with it! It so light it''s great to throw around you on stage. After every gig people come up to me asking about the bass and telling stories about Rinus Gerritsen, Jack Bruce, Entwistle, Tom Petty, the guy from the E Street Band, Frank Kraaijeveld and so on.
