You don't see Typhoons very often. That price is probably about right but a fretless short scale might be a hard sell..

IIRC they were DeArmonds. This was back when DeArmond-Rowe was an independent pickup company.

I had a Typhoon for many years, a '68 I believe. I always referred to it as my Danny Bonaduce bass. The body was indeed made in Germany while the neck was US made. I never did verify where the pickups came from. Overall it was a very nice bass. Lots more articulation than a EB2 but still plenty thumpy. My Pyramid flats probably helped with that. I bought it pre-internet days from one of those overpriced 'vintage' dealers that were so prevalent back then. Problem was it was just an Ovation so they really couldn't get the top dollars reserved for Gibsons and Guilds.

This expired listing of a slightly different Typhoon says they were single coil DeArmonds. Can't vouch for its accuracy, but at least the pickups on this one look the same as the one on CL.
