No, it's not. A cool project I mean.

Save yourself from the destruction of your illusions, self-pity and general disenchantment and buy an Epi Exi bass instead. A much better base/bass to start with for further improvement. There is nothing the Gibson doesn't do a lot worse.

Nor does it have rotten wood on it.
