In praise of SD

22 frets. Randy makes his 34" with 24 frets. cutting off the first fret of a 34 incher makes a fretboard for a 32.092 length with 23 frets but i didn't want to go with an odd set of frets so ............ it is getting chopped.

 Hmmm. a recurring theme here, I got my covers (filled with Seymours' internals) back a few weeks ago, they had mine since last October.
I think you'll be pleased, although I wish they had sent me a complimentary pickup! Oh well not much to complain about, they were very apologetic about the wait and shipped them back no charge (and as a dealer I got a price break too  )
I hadn't even posted about them (very busy also!) but they sound great! Although they seem to be a little more sensitive to how close they are set to the strings, I installed them in a hurry wanting to check them out and was at first underwhelmed, after adjusting them........Ahhhhhh.....growly good! Somewhat difficult to describe, but they seem more "detailed" than the TB plus or the ObG pickups. Anyway glad to hear you got yours' I've got a few more sets of covers, hope the next batch dosn't take so long (but worth the wait).................................

you just never know about the SD shop!  Fortunately I have 5 projects going at once so I barely missed them!  Glad yours turned out so well.  I know mine will sound good once installed.

sorry i got off subject, has anyone ever compared the SD TB pups and the Fralin TB pups and is overdriven66 (got no idea if Tony is a member here or not!) still selling the covers?
