you will notice that you can mike a combo amp and play to a really big place. i like that.

The bass has only two strings. He has even removed two tuners from the headstock.

The "bass" is just an Epi SG guitar with two detuned strings.

the guitar has only three strings. from what i have read when both guitars are played together they produce big, fat chords. baz's 12 string has more than double the number of strings than this entire band. ;)

Right. There was an interview in BP with Chris Ballew many years ago, IIRC the two strings were something like 45 and 75. Can't remember what they were tuned to. He called it a Basitar. Fat midrange, not much else.

Yeah, the recorded versions is excellent, and the one time I saw the live version was phenomenal. Dave, the drummer for SCOTS was at the same show and said the Cobras could easily be on or off depending on the night. That night they were definitely on!

And no, I doubt that song is about cats...
