Knowing you, I first thought you wanted something sharpened that sounds similar and has wood component too.

I don't know if it's used in all businesses but in the print industry in the UK if you tell a person to "sharpen your pencil" it means for them to quote a really competitive/cheap price for a job.

Kinda defeating the object with these pencils though!  ;D

If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
