As much as I like it, and the body style is hard to come by, it's still not a real Thunderbird.  It's all in the pickups.  That's why the Epi T-Bird NR RI didn't fly.

You're right. It should sound good enough  -- reminds me of a US Bich bolt-on with the same configuration I played a few years back. But not like any version of a real T-Bird.

It doesn't look like the other Rich Bird's I've seen. The others have looked more faithful to the original TBird. I think there are probably people that love the typical TBird shape, but maybe don't like the sound. I guess thats why you see them with other types of pickups, hardware, and set neck/bolt on, etc. I love the TBird shape, but it doesn't bother me to see other non Gibson pickups or hardware on them. My favorite is still a Gibson Bird, but I would play other brands versions of them no problem.
