Before you jump on that note that it is not a YBA-200-2. There is a difference. I had one of these some time back and never did get it to sound good. YMMV.

Good catch!  I just figured it was the same as the one Mark uses.  What are the differences between the 2?

The first version of the YBA200 had an autobias scheme that never worked properly and more often than not, failed completely. Even when it wasn't toasting output tubes, it would often bias the output section too cold and the amp didn't sound good. Traynor canned it with the YBA200-2.

It's possible, but the difficulty in doing so entirely depends on the physical layout and internal structure and materials. I've not seen inside one, so I can't say exactly how difficult it would be.
