So when I was purchasing my birds, I realized that the $110 Epiphone case was a ripoff, but Guitar Center insisted that these didn't come with a gig bag or case. What aftermarket product should I use to protect my birds? I want to keep it on the cheap, a $100 case for a $200 bass just seems retarded to me. Thanks for the insight!  ;D

Where are you finding an Epi T-Bird for $200?  I've never seen a new one less than $300.

I bought a Sunburst Epi T Bird Sunday for $250 new at Guitar Center.

Then I bought a Goth Epi T Bird today for $200 used.

That's a good price for a new Epi.  Unfortunately, I'm not within easy driving distance of a Guitar Center.

Aye, they had one of those Green Tag sales this last weekend. I wasn't going to pay anything over 250 anyway, I would have walked and still picked up this Goth for 200.

There are many in this world that call me Darrol, feel free to be apart of that group.

Me too! I went back and forth about which one to get initially, they both sounded great, but the Sunburst one won by a slight hair.
Besides, the Goth that GC had was priced the same, and was a little beat up. As fate would have it, I took home the sunburst and found a used goth in better condition for less money.

Oh and if my wife asks, I only paid 100. :)

Where does Uwe live? There's got to be an aura of awesomeness surrounding his house.

I've been to Germany. His collection lives on the top floor of a modern and very well protected office. 24h guards (some old Leibstandard Adolf Hitler guys), acces with keycards only, crocodiles and Panzer tanks around the building, some Messerschmits flying over 24/7, of course lots of concrete. Rumours say his office is build bij mr. Tödt who also designed the Atlantikwall. But like i sayd: Rumours only.

But what's even worse: His collection is constantly surrounded by a bunch of German top lawyers.... You won't go in there voluntary!
