And it was a bargain for just 200 bucks.






It needs new strings and a little clean up, the flatwound strings it currently has are ancient, probably just as old as the bass itself.

Incredible score for just $200.  And to think, if you waited a bit longer you could have paid several times that for the Meximade Duff bass.

I have been holding out for a black neck one, and I really want the Contemporary Precision, which was that with just the one P pup.  I like pretty much all the 80s Japanese Fender basses.  Even the Katana.
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

That was a steal!! I really do want a jazz special for my collection. Really the only Fender I'm interested in at this point.

I had the same bass, but fretless.  Nice score for only $200...
