Like I said before I think these are really well made basses. I put a Seymour Duncan Hot for J pup in my '08 AS Jazz and am very happy with the sound, very strong vintage tone, lots of sparkle, warmth and power. They are really a Fender in Gibson guise. Thats great about the case ! I thought they fit ! I just didn't have time to check it out. Bill be sure to turn your Tunning keys parallel to the headstock, especially the G tuner.

Yeah, I'm ready for a Bach Bird too!   thanks for the tip Scott. I'll do that!

You could always just keep the P/J configuration and let it serve as your bolt-on Fender-type Gibson.

I used to have one, when I just started playing bass. A very mid-ish bass but I liked it.

Yep, strong mids for sure, a moderately present low end, but nothing like my other TBs.  I do like the sound as it's different and gives me some variety to pick from.  Nice neck profile too.

I agree Dave.  I was toying with the notion of not refinishing it and just adding a Fender neck for fun.  A couple chrome pups might be interesting too!
