Those of you who've read the recent story about Ted Williams' head and the cryogenics lab will appreciate the work that went into this: http://deadspin.com/5385651/there-goes-the-greatest-halloween-costume-that-ever-lived

Ted Williams and Al Kaline were my heroes as a kid. Every frickin' thing I owned had one of those two signatures on it ;D
I read Ted Williams book as a kid and he taught me how to get the power out of my swing. When I got it together , I became a darn good long ball hitter.

Seven years ago when I retired/took a disability from the consulting firm I worked at, I went out on top of my game with a list of records that will likely stand for several decades.  My last at bat was just like Ted Williams' , a home run. Yep, me and Ted ;).

I sure hope my family doesn't get all nuts with this stuff and stick my head in the freezer when I die :o

After Ted Williams died, his son had his body frozen at a cryogenics lab. This was done over the objection of his daughter and other relatives, who lost a court fight to prevent it.

The whole matter popped up again a couple of weeks ago when a new book was published. It revealed abuse at the lab.... well, just go to Google News and search for Ted Williams Frozen.
