Tuning keys look like they have been replaced by some wide post schallers too.

My EB2D is about to have such a thing reversed.

Uwe: Because of certain reasons some decades ago we had a big shortage of chrome in Holland. I think the original mudbucker was first sold to the Gazelle bike factory to make new bikes around '46. Later they installed a new one.

You know, if you are going to stick big ass slot top tuners in a poor old Gibson, at least be not a complete moron and figure out how to put the strings on.  I hate people.

I wish Gibson would sell the SG bass almostmudbucker, and they should make donor EB2 and EB3 bodies and necks to repair this hideous crap.  Might keep an extra shift busy at the factory.  These days, the guys on the line could use the money.

That would be a good idea. The ES-335 body is a production item, no problems there. Just change the programming for the pickup and control routing.

Makes sense, so Gibson won't do it.
