Nice score! Congrats. I want to try a double-humbucker with all those switches once.

Denis

Thanks! I think between the '74 Fender, the Cowpoke and this one, I'm covered from the P-bass angle!
Those double humbucker G&Ls are supposed to be terrific basses!

i think gas goes away when you realize that owning a certain bass will not make you play any better. ;) imo. of course i can't collect anything. call me the anti hoarder. if something is not getting used then bye bye in a hurry. ;D

Denis

A buddy of mine at the shop told me G.A.S. has gone too far when you are buying guitars and basses you don't even like.

Thanks, guys! It's nice, simple, and pretty light. The sound and the color sold me. I read the LB-100 was made from '93-2000 but I couldn't find actual numbers. I'd be curious to know how many they made, but I suspect it's one of G&L's more common ones from the time period but I could be wrong. A buddy here in town has a G&L Interceptor he bought new. Only 400 of those were made!

After having only 1 bass for about 20 years (the old Embassy), my wife got me an '81 L-1000, which I still have.  It's a better bass than my old '64 Precision ever was.  I've been collecting, sort of, ever since.

That's a real beaut.
I think owning one just makes you froth for another.
My L-2000 is tremendous, but ever since I saw an orange ASAT Bass, I've wanted it.

It's a disease.
