Yeah, I always need parts.

Has anyone got the bottom bass plate for a 1970 onwards mudbucker. You know the flat metal plate that screws into the wood, and sits under the pickup itself.

Willing to pay or swap other parts.....

My White EB3L is almost done....

Let me check the "spares" that I did not need when I fitted George's MB (approx'71) to my Peter Cook - had the plastic mount and such, too - do you have a pic, Jules...?

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

I think that is one of the bits that came with it, Jules, but a quick perusal of the shed ("ah heck, not that shed again" - just gettin' in first...  ;D) is not enough... got a house-full of teenagers tonight (Roshina's 16th party) so battening down the hatches - I'll look properly tomorrow...

It's been put in a "safe place"...

I found the plastic surround for it but not the springs/screws/back-plate (which is the bit you want) which are all "safely put away"... I'll keep looking, but I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope... last item I put in a "safe place" (about 2 years back) my wife found a couple of days ago...  :o (one of those, "Do these look like anything to you, Ken?" moments that wives are so good at...)

Still looking for my Peter Cook pup, and the cover for the failed one... did find a surround for one, also found the chrome "spares" from my "hybrid" schallers, so not a total waste of a dig-around... absolutely no use to you though, Jules... sorry...

Crikey, Mark... just looked at your original link... wanted $79 for that little bit of wood you were after...  :o

STOP THE PRESS...

2" by 3 11/16" or 51mm x 85mm approx - the discolouration appears to be surface and this is the worse of the 2 sides...

I also have the surround black plastic ring, and all the springs/screws that George sent... I will almost certainly not have a use for them in the foraseeable future

PM if this is what you're after...

I'm sure George will be happy it is going to good use rather than malingering in the darker recesses of my shed...

They were gifted to me so nothing wanted in return... pay-it-forward...  ;)

Now going back to my "project" work...
