Not to fear.  My therapists have endorsed a cautious return to playing, and I can bail at any time during the set.  Playing, at this point, is helping a lot with finger/hand/wrist motion.

Last night marked my return to the band for the full night.  Today,  I feel like a train wreck, but no worse for the wear.  The worst of my fears wasn't my elbow and wrist, but my fingertips.  My callouses are pretty much putty, so I brought the Holy Crap bass out of retirement.  Those TI rounds are nice and loose.  I got through the night without any real trouble.  One night to go.  I have tape with me, in case I need to reinforce my fingertips.
