I've contributed greatly to this moving rekindling of the "special relationship" between your two great countries I think. Now I want my tried and trusted share of the fun: Can I sink the ship that transports the Ripper?

PS: You know what that fin of that Ripper is gonna be, Johnnie boy, right? Union Jack, nothing else will go!

have you determined how the ripper will be completed?  there's a set of pups on ebay if you're trying to use originals.

No, he wants to play it.

No, I was planning on doing a Mahogany RD, much like Lightyear is doing.

I love the Ripper neck, which is my favorite bass neck-period, that I have played. Since the body has been routed, I will remove the neck, make a mahogany RD body, then wait to either get original electronics & pups or get some exotic modern ones that are in the same spirit of the originals. It would also be nice to get a passive mode. I have actually been looking for a Ripper Carcass for some time that has been hacked up.

A mahogany Ripper might be interesting as well.

Another idea I was toying with was doing a Blueshawk bass, I remember that idea went over like a lead Zeppelin last time I brought it up.

Another idea would be to transfer the guts from my Eb-0 project to the RD/Ripper bastard son?

Thats a crazy sounding bass, but the bridge never did go low enough to really get fast action out of it.

I also still have those chrome Tbird covers and a Kahler I bought from Spade?

How about a reverse RD?
