good place to sell parts

is ebay a good idea for selling parts?  in particular, a gibson ripper bridge and tuners, an epi t-bird bridge, and an unknown hollow body style tail piece.  Is this stuff worth the hassle of putting it on ebay?

Depending on where you live, Craigslist is a decent place to sell stuff as well.
Cash only transactions and you save the hassle of shipping items.

My .02...I recommend meeting the prospective buyers somewhere else other than your home.
Better to be safe than sorry.

I've bought lots of pedals and several basses, amps, etc. using Craigslist.

Ebay can be a good place to sell certain parts, IME, but be aware that their fees can be upwards of 10% of the final value (for buy-it-now auction w/Paypal).

I rarely use eBay but regardless, I still think the cost of doing business on Ebay is easily worth it. Your items are exposed to a huge number of potential buyers. That tends to bring quicker sales and higher prices, usually more than enough to cover the costs.

It's different if you're selling something with a strong local demand, then you might try Craiglslist. Bass parts normally wouldn't have that kind of demand.
