I just got a call form a person interested in selling some NOS Gibson bass necks.  From what he and my coworker told me, they have inlays and fretted boards and are ready for install and spray.  My coworker said that they looked like EB2 necks with 6 digit serial numbers on them.  How much should I offer they guy?

Thanks!

An EB-2 neck probably wouldn't have inlays. Are these short scale? They could be early 70s Les Paul bass necks.

If you're sure they're legit, I'd say about $80, judging by what greatdealz1967 has sold on eBay in the last year or so.

By inlays I meant the headstock inlays (logo and crown).  My coworked who saw them Saturday said that one of them was penciled EB2 and had the crown inlay, so I'm guessing it's a short scale neck.  He's going to bring them by work today so I'll know if they're legit soon enough.

Let me know, I'd be interested in one. jswoquinn@sbcglobal.net

The one I got from greatdealz1967 didn't have the fretboard or inlay in it.  I'd say that $100 might be reasonable.

The guy never showed up.  Hopefully he'll come in tomorrow...
