There's now a symbol on the toolbar to insert a link. Just click on it, add your URL, put a description, insert, and your description will appear as an underlined link. No need for a long URL.

There's now a YT button on the toolbar. Click it, add the Share URL from the video. insert, and the video appears instead of just an URL.

At the bottom of the original posting area you'll see Click or drag files here to attach them. There is a size limit. There always has been. I'll see about increasing it.

If you want to add a local file to an existing post, instead of using the Quick Edit button, use the More button, then Modify, and the original posting box will appear.

I still can't make it work. I don't see any area that's labeled "drag and drop" or anything - I've tried dragging the image into the post but it opens the image in a new window in Chrome. I can't find any icon that seems to be a drag option.

Am I not seeing it because of a browser issue?  Any chance you could post a screen grab showing where the option is visible? Thanks....

If you hit Reply to a post, there is an option to drag and drop files (see below) but it looks like it just attaches the file, if dragged in.

I just hit Reply to your post. The "Click or drag... "language appears just below the open posting area. I'm now dragging a photo to where the language is. Presto, the pic from my hard drive is attached.

I'm using Chrome.

EDITED TO ADD: Attachments can only be viewed by logged-in members. This is nothing new; it's always been that way since we began.

Thanks - if I hit reply, now I see that band.  So it's not in the body of the post, but in the band below....and it works, thanks!  I also notice that if I quote an earlier post, that option does not appear.  (I used a shot of an old Kustom amp as a test.).

There you go!

The option doesn't appear if you use the Quick Quote button. But before the recent update, there was just a Modify button, and it's still here, hiding behind the "More..." button. Click More, then Modify, and the full option will appear.
