QuoteWhen I was a kid back int eh 60's, I liked the Fenders and T-Birds, but didn't like any of the Kay, Harmony or other hollow bodies.  Now, I love the look, feel and sound.  Even the old tort guards are cool looking and I hated them back in the day.

Same here. Guess with the years our taste got better! ;D

The instruments in that ad have a GREAT look!!  I hope they make it into general distribution.

A little O/T but Chris P - what's the magazine you review for?

I post some pics somewhere on the Outpost. It's a Dutch/Belgian bass magazine called De Bassist:

I'm editor in chief of that one. In Dutch only. It's a quarterly magazine. I do reviews, interviews, news articles, but also editing, correcting, managing who's writing what, dealing with photographers and lay out people, et cetera.

I'm also contributor to our sister magazine Music Maker which is a musicians magazine. For this one I write about vintage guitars, basses and amps, I do interviews with all kinds of musicians (also guitarists, singers, ..) and I review bass gear.

For a third live-music magazine I only do interviews.

Yep, JIC in Apeldoorn. They will be in stores by now. The last time I spoke to them they talked about prices just under 1,000 euros, bt I have to confirm that.

I haven't seen lefties, though..
