As a guy I knew from Cape Verde would say: HAPPY ST. SKIBING'S DAY!  The whole idea of a feast holiday not involving a Saint confused him.

I will be taking the incisor teeth that nature gave me and will rip flesh from bone!  And maybe some raviolis or manicotti. Maybe some grinding of vegetables too.

Good health to all of us, and good luck to the Detroit Lions!

Terr, have you ever made yourself a Tofurkey? Good stuff! Pick one up if you've never tried it.

Also, have you ever eaten at any of the raw vegan restaurants in LA? I hear Juliano's place is crazy good.

Yes, I cooked up an oven full of Tofurkey for my Thanksgiving party last year. Gooood stuff!
The year before was better. I cooked up 5 wheatmeat "hens" that looked & tasted very much like turkey. The company that made those, with stuffing & gravy & all, seems to have gone outa business. Alas

Last night's meal was real goood & topped off with lotsa pumpkin pie.
Brought home a pie & some nice thick slices of wheatmeat mock turkey & so forth for tonight.

Sat. I'm just cooking up a big pot of mashed potatoes & the rest will be taken care of by others-- pot luck!!!!!!!!

Haven't been to Juliano's yet. Maybe I'll go next week. Thanks, Andrew.

Counting my blessings & among them are many great friends....& great basses, guitars, drums, keys & other instruments!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Lord!
