Priceless!
And they say we humans are the superior beings.................... ;)

This is exactly what my Scottish Terrier did as I soldiered off to work, a series of daylong naps interrupted by occasionally taking a leak somewhere in the house if he couldn't hold it till I got home to take him for a walk.

looks like a greyhound or whippet, which they are off/on dogs. our dogs seem to sleep the whole day while we are gone. You come home & find them asleep in their crates (doors open)

I worked for an animal shelter (the government one, not the humane society) when I was a kid, and there was a greyhound race track nearby.  The combination of the two was very sad.

Good dogs to adopt!  Very kind, and gentle demeanor.

BTW, that clip reminded me of a Far Side comic  ;D

Most mammals sleep three quarters of the day and more. If there is nothing else to do  - meaning hunting, eating , mating or following nature's call - they doze off. Humans in tests without any possibility to measure time are known to sleep longer and longer, adjusting to 14 hours of sleep plus naps in the end. They also said they had never felt so rested in their life and that it was a new sensation to them.

Western style life has us all undernourished with sleep.
