Tommie and Leo
« on: November 01, 2008, 06:46:18 AM »
1) i have met a friend named Tommie. she is a singer from New Zealand who is currently climbing the chart at reverbnation. a vote for her (requires registration) might get her a lot more air time if she can get high enough on the chart. she started above 2000 and now is close to the top 100. her bro is a bass player and sometimes helps with recording but for the most part she plays all the instruments herself. i know she just finished the last track on her new album and is now organizing the rest of the album. please drop by, give her a listen and maybe a vote if you like her music. this little queen has a satin/sultry voice that makes you want to push your half finished beer back to the barkeep and order a glass of your favorite Kentucky Bourbon on the rocks.

thanks players.

2) just got an email this morning from Leo Lyons (Kick and TYA). looks like he has been checking us out and i hope he joins. i consider him one of my greatest influences along with Gary Thain.

what an interview he could give i bet if one of you big strapper writers could get one down on paper.

edited for spelling

note from Tommie to all my friends here in the outpost:

"tommie brewster thanks everyone who's helping me on www.reverbnation.com/tommiesingah where my song is now 75 out of 2024 in the blues chart!!!"

you go girl!!!

thanks from me to all my friends here, i would love to see this go as far as possible. if you haven't checked her out, please do so at the link posted and cast a vote .... please.

John McCoy, formerly of Gillan, Mammoth and now with GMT plays bass on her new album (no wonder, he is her brother) and as a side note GMT has just signed a distriution deal for the U.S. and is in the throws of planning to make some tours here. Good luck John.

hey thanks terry, she is up to 51 out of 2050 now. hope she gets it done. thanks to everyone who is voting for Tommie. she is a good friend.

 ;) ;)

i think you have to click on the first song "i can't leave you alone" and vote from that interface. it might say "vote" by the song listing.

she might put some of my poetry to music. i know she is finishing her first album right now and trying to get it out to the engineer before Christmas.

get out and vote today!!!!!!!!!! please

then go vote for tommie ;)
