I geddit - I prefer bands that can't go beyond midsize halls either. With more than a couple of thousands in the audience, rock gigs quickly become an anonymous spectacle.

Dave Archibald is an amazing musician from Edinburgh, Scotland. He was the lead singer with the great band The Rising Souls. But unfortunately that band does not seem to have survived the Covid crisis.
His voice reminds me strongly of that of Jay Buchanan (Rival Sons). His day job is a plumber. Dreams of a full-time music career. In these recordings of an American show, he plays on his own on a (great-sounding) acoustic guitar.
