Here's the weird one - Ted traded this HRF for a Byrdland he had previously owned and which had mysteriously disappeared. Fortunately a fan had found and purchased it. Note that the TP6 is positioned  where a trapeze tailpiece might be located - presumably to allow Ted to do his Byrdland-style whammy effects and associated guttural noises.

So the Byrdland has a solid carved top (with a hollow body underneath), not just an arched plywood one? I live and learn.

Solid spruce top. Apparently variations abound on the back and neck construction. Short scale, thin neck also.

And priced accordingly.

The could have always offered a Bison head trophy ready for wall mounting as case candy with the Nuge Sig model!

You mean pinkish Wang Dang Sweet Poontang fur that gives you Cat Scratch Fever?

Wang Dang Sweet Poontang was the B side of the Cat Scratch Fever Single, how fitting.

Rob Grange was the epitome of cool, like a tall Ian Hunter playing bass.

No, more likely something that formerly girded Ted's dinner...
