He blames "people" for the unacceptance of the 2000 and 3000 Series but the truth is the guitars were not so great.

I had two 3000 basses and a 3001. Only sold them because I wanted something else. The 3001 is not that special, but the 3000 is a great sounding bass! Very cool bass. I would like to have one again, now I'm more into short scales, but hey... you can't have 'm all. I guess in that period of time short scales weren't as populair as they are now and they were very different than people expected from Rick.

There's a certain kollector that frequents these pages that might disagree, especially when it come to bikes...

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

If this certain persön didn't robbed us from our bikes, I would have money to buy more basses!

I wonder if he had any input into the "The Collector" in the MCU...?

I saw Austin's Flash Boys several times during my 7 years in south Texas. Bassist Mark Douglas always played a 3000 and it sounded great.
