Saw that yesterday. Zapped away before I ever got to the fretless bass solo, because I found what I saw and heard quite boring and soulless.

EDIT:
After my initial post I thought let's give it a second chance. So I listened to the fretless solo part. It does get more adventurous in that section yes. They certainly have their chops together.

I still prefer the version of Leonid and friends over this one though  ;)

The backing track features Roger Glover on bass who also produced Coverdale's first solo album where this stems from. Ironic how DC, in theory eager to leave the double lead vocalizing of Mark III and IV DP behind, reverted to type on this track adding a harmony vocal line that is reminiscent of what Hughes would have sung - some habits obviously stuck!
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

Jack Bruce also had only good things to say about Gary Moore.  He said he was his favorite guitarist to play with and said their common Celtic background may have been a factor. I thought I might have seen a similar story to this Roger Glover story somewhere, but this is supposed to be new.
