She's been really abused. The asked price is ridiculous for the bass conditions, considering that the original finish is gone on both body and neck, and upper register has been defretted. Also pickguard is not original.
The bass is a few km from my house. I proposed seller just 200 Eur, the value of pickups, tuners and bridge, but he did not accept.

That's a shame. But not beyond repair.
Price is ridiculous though.

Wait him out. The bass will likely not sell anywhere near his asking price. He might be willing to reduce his price after reality sets in.......

Definitely, he is even asking for local pickup in Milan. I wonder that there anybody that even is aware of what that bass is close to me. I have already one with an home made body and real pickups, neck, bridge and tuners and a 20/20 clone in my cellar waiting for pickup routing. Let's wait!

I expect extra popularity for the 20/20 next year.

A 2020 20/20 Reissue only makes sense. (Are you listening Gibson?) After 30+ years the world is ready!

I had almost forgotten about that.  Kierkegaard's thoughts on the best finish for a 20/20.

It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.
