Well thanks for the tip off, but I am not holding my breath because a) with 4.5 basses already another one is litterally at the bottom of my acquisitions list and b) if they do that 3/4 pickguard like they did with the guitars that also kinda kills the vibe.

I'm due for a midlife crisis; talk to ya about something custom when that happens cuz I ain't into cars (thank God, because I do not have the budget for anything like a a nice sportscar).  I can wait.

Hrrmm, that often leads to something irrational, so in your case I'm thinking something like this:
