the drummer is always the most important person in a band. a good drummer can make any band much better while a bad drummer can wreck a good band. as much as some may like to think so the bassist is not the most important member in any given band situation. imo.

Of course you're right. The world is full of unimaginative bass players that miraculously don't hamper their bands career. And no one bought Queen records for John Deacon's dexterous playing or Slade albums for Jim Lea's melodic lead bass.

But drummer jokes must be allowed!
