Fats Domino on American Masters

Fats was one of my favorites when I was growing up and I still listen to him often, probably more often that any of my other early rock and roll records.

I missed part of this on Friday night, now I'm going to watch the rest.

Elvis Presley referred to Fats Domino as the real king of rock 'n roll.

I love Fats Domino.  My introduction to his music was from watching Happy Days as a young kid. 
There's also a classic old Led Zep bootleg where they cover "Blueberry Hill".

It was worthwhile seeing the whole thing. Fats is such an introvert these days there's hardly any current footage with him, but Dave Bartholomew, who recently turned 97, is prominent in it, and he explains so much about Fats' career and their collaborations.
