It went with his Dumble amp, and Dumbles have become outrageously expensive. But if you're a fan, you can buy the speaker cable he once owned, handmade by Howard Dumble himself.

While the Golden Rivet is as functional as the Golden Spike that it mimics, gold is a superior conductor of electrons and is widely used by manufacturers of exotic audio cables, and even some not so exotic cables have gold colored connectors. Whether anyone can actually hear a difference though,  does put them back in the Golden Rivet realm.
