I have a friend who works for GC. Apparently they have sent out reps to retrofit new unsold Gibsons with regular tuners.

Interesting.
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

That would be post-robotic tuning, wouldn't it?  :o

I bet the stratosphere guy on eBay will have a few hundred sets for sale soon.

Unfortunately they can't do anything about the "Leo Paul 100" headstock scrawl and the wide fretboard.

I was right by the Roseville GC today and stopped in for the first time in ages. It's been remodeled and looks nice. But wow, way more low end guitars and basses than before. In the bass department they had 5 USA Fenders, 3 MIM Fenders, one used Stingray 5er, and everything else was from the far east. Most of the amps on the floor were too expensive for the basses. Same thing with the guitar department. There were three 2015 Gibsons, though. All still had the GForce. Maybe they'll sell after the conversion.

Where will all the little robotnik toonies go then?
