This is a really cool book that documents the band beginnings and rise to fame. Lots of input from folks who were there like managers, road crew other bands, not the usual Gene and Paul it's because we say so content. It's a fascinating read, even a fair amount of gear and information on the state of performing conditions. Even if you are not a KISS fan it's a great look into the world of Rock and Roll in the early 70's. Lots of great pictures I have never seen! Like Ace in the studio with a Ovation breadwinner! Highty recommended read.

Might have to check this out. "KISS Alive Forever" is another great one, with no input from Chaim and Stan.

Ace and the Breadwinner seemed like a good match.

A VERY formative look back then still, but the ingredients were there. Someone must have made them aware that their individual make up would be more profound on a white kabuki-style background. Good advice that was.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

I haven't gotten this yet but their Facebook group is hilarious. They post old photos and anecdotes and take part in the discussions there. Definitely of interest to KISS fans or anyone who ever played out in a rock band.

No problem! I figured a few people here would probably enjoy what these guys bring to the KISS story.

My 51st is a week from Saturday. I sent the link to my wife. Grow up? No thanks.  ;)
