It was a '63-'64, pretty good condition, mostly original, no breaks or major issues except a shrinking pickguard, and it would be better off with a neck reset.  I'm kinda sad to see it go, but I hardly ever touched it.  They're not making any more of 'em!  Had it for over ten years, and it was my last short-scale.  I think it went to a good home, anyway, and I can really use the money to help get my new motor together.  Anyway, it is what it is.  I tend to get a little melancholy after I sell off any cool stuff.   :-\

I know the feeling Frankie... it sucks.
Good luck with getting the new motor together.

Sad to see them go, but sometimes it's what you need to do.

I sold off most of my basses after my divorce.  I haven't been playing much, but I do sometimes miss some of those basses.  Among them were my BaCH, a Magnatone Hurricane, G&L L-1000 and the Johnson Scroll bass.  I still have two, and the Embassy is one I'll probably never sell.
