Also it will probably be a lot safer than the old microcars from the 50s and early 60s. I still wouldn't mind having a vintage Messerschmitt KR200 though.

I doubt they can make any money at $6800, but since it's a motorcycle they may be able to dodge a lot of auto safety laws that run the price, the features and the weight up.  Could be an interesting deal for those who like to customize vehicles.
