I admire her for being there and you for having her! I would interrogate her on a daily basis about her recollections - with or without jack boots, I'm flexible that way and open to suggestions!

Silverhead were trashy, but très cool, I'm a great fan of Michael des Barres in all his bands (Detective, Power Station, Chequered Past). What a man you must be, Nofi, to have ousted him!!!  :)

This is him today:

Now that you have started it, you could at least ask gracious Frau Nofi on my behalf how she thought it was!!!! In 1972 they must have been pretty much like this (though this is a little later, but before the Gillan and Blackmore relationship hit a nadir, however, the Gillan beard was already a harbinger, Blackmore didn't want him to wear one which was of course motivation for Gillan enough to do just that!):

Roll on the Fall, when this relationship will finally be consummated ... ;)

Silverhead ... now there's a band I'd forgotten ... highly underrated singer ...

Now where is Nofi when you need him? Wir brauchen mehr details.

Des Barres isn't a Paul Rodgers, Robert Plant or Ian Gillan, but he's a character.

Silverhead - that's some pretty good early 70s rock and roll! I was not familiar with them until now. Is that really Nigel Harrison from Blondie on bass? Des Barres was a cool frontman.

I did think of an archaic French expression involving three persons, but I'm sure Frau Hornung will be a stabilising influence ...

Yup. But I hadn't known that either. Nor that he was a limey. I thought all Blondies were yanks. Though with a first name like Nigel ... You live and learn. It all makes sense though because he played in Chequered Past with Des Barres again.

As a sort of Scot, you, Ken, are a Catholic renegade by heritage, that is even worse than never having been one at all! Braveheart would be ashamed.
