First time I've seen that Woodstock footage. All Right Now was kind of a train wreck. Slash doesn't hold a candle to Koss. I don't see the appeal of that pre Gibson Tobias either, at least not how it sounds in this clip.
Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

I think neither the performance nor the bass sound is horrible (I've heard worse train wreck versions of Alright Now on Free bootlegs), but Fraser sure looks ill at ease playing "rawk", you don't get a feeling that there is another member of legendary Free standing there, but rather a very shy, even awkward sideman. It's something Rodger's relaxed, but-always-there machismo must do to him.  Had Fraser already come out by then?

I'm not sure if Andy was out of the closet by then but those high waist pants and Fedora certainly don't scream masculine heterosexuality. Maybe that's why somebody holds up a bible at 6:14 during "The Hunter".

Why can't people just say: "I'm as gay as a goose, but still like to rock out ..."? There was nothing mawkish about these guys and this was late seventies.

"It wouldn't surprise me if there was a fair amount of edginess there ..."

Being the bass player who wishes to sing lead in a band that features Paul Rodgers of all people is a kind of self-defeating project. Fraser has a pleasant voice, but that's it.
