Saw some Summer NAMM pics on Modern Guitar's website from a new company so I did a quick search: Bulletproof Instruments

Forget nitro vs. poly. Now we'll be able to discuss how Kevlar affects tone.  :rolleyes:

There's a warning that they have a patent pending. Somehow I don't think they'll have to worry about anybody wanting to copy their idea, whether or not it's patentable.

Bullet proof guitars, high use of technology, engineers, aerospace professionals, years of research and development...

... and a website put together by the 13 year old next door via mspaint and a ripped off copy of frontpage.

The kind of instrument I wanted to play if I was covering at an NRA convention Ian Hunter's "Gun Control".
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...

I see the logic behind it. The finish is so ugly they're afraid someone will shoot the designer  ;)
