Yep, the threaded ones should work just fine.

Did the original Bass VI bridge saddles have height adjustment screws? IIIRC they didn't, at least at first.

Good question, I don't know.  Either way, I need them, especially on the low E string!

I a review in a Dutch guitar magazine I read a review translated from English. Our magazine does all reviews with own people, but the biggest guitar magazine buys a lot of foreign reviews. It states that underneath the Jazzmaster housing of the VI is a humbucking pickup.
