Interesting hollowbody prototype

A member at the TDPRI posted this pic of his bass. Flame maple top and back, leather sides, ebony bridge, hammered tailpiece, long scale, apparently Dano-type construction. It was made by Kurt Schoen, who mainly builds cigar box guitars.

The owner contacted Schoen, who said it was a prototype he may put into production, it's one of two he made. "Pretty much like Super Danelectros if there were such a thing."

I like it.

Maybe. Then it wouldn't be like a super Dano, though.

Looks cool!  I like the graphical purfling (assuming that's what that is?)

I like it too. Reminiscent of the Kay Howlin' Wolf bass.
