Whatever it is, the page is still trying to load after about ten minutes.

That was awesome! LOL! And I'm pretty sure I would not have understood her regardless of language.

That is perhaps the single most incongruous pairing of visual and audio I have ever witnessed.

I cannot imagine for the life of me why anyone would listen to "music" (and I strain the term to its utmost) of that nature.

Yup, there was an issue here too, but it works now.

I have among thousands of CDs just three cookie monster vocal CDs: a Mastodon, a Slipknot and Bullet for my Valentine one. Oh, and a Dir en Grey one plus some Marilyn Manson (who is not really cookie monster vocalish except for rare effect). None of these are hardcore cookie, there is mostly singing. I make conscious efforts to listen to them, it's not easy for me. But then I think: "Don't be like you dad when he for the first time caught you listening to the screaming parts in Child in Time!"

She is better than most, I sense some melody. Wouldn't hide her face behind a Slipknot mask though!

That pretty much freaked me out.  But she did seem very poised.

My ears are still in shock. But she's French and cute.

for crushing guitar tone i think this achevies 'total heavyosity'.

as far as i can tell these guys were among the first cookie monsters. yes, there are 'vocals' on this song. ;D

I'd rather listen to the soothing sound of Kat Bjelland's voice.

Whenever I hear this music I realize that I am ... well, old. It's not unskillfully played and there is thought behind it. I guess you also have to mean it if you play that stuff. But it remains abstract to me. Frankly, I find those ultrafast double-, triple- and quadruple-time meters that emphasize every beat equally (and therefore nothing) more offensive than the cookie monster vocals which I can always file under "sound effect". But then I have issues with anything that is much faster than Highway Star anyhow. Speed Metal, even the melodic variants of it, was never to my liking.
